32 Days Left!

Our wedding is getting so close!!! Today Tom and I went to the town hall and got our marriage license! Starting tomorrow we are legally allowed to get married!

We also got our town ID cards - my first form of ID with my new last name on it! Even the people at town hall were picking on me for the change from 4 to 10 letters.... Not too much for us to utilize the card for until we have kids, but Tom is finally excited to turn 30 so that he can join the West Seneca men's over-30 hockey team.

Just a few little things left to get ready for the wedding. Today we assembled favors and bought paper to use for the place cards. A pretty productive day off of work!

Now I just have to start the workout routine - I probably should do something with all the pictures and video to come...

Only 32 days left!

A Month and a Half to Go!

Not to be outdone by my future wife's "vain" sister, Sherry and I have decided to write our own blog! Hopefully this will last more than a week, but who knows...

We've got about a month and a half until the world ends... uh oh.... here it comes....

I hate when you say that... especially when it's to people that we don't know...

yada yada yada... always yelling at me... Anyway, if you can't figure it out, When I (Tom) talk, it will be in BLUE text. When the lady (Sherry) talks it will be in PINK.

So, We are getting married in 43 days. And life is hectic. Real Hectic. This week we (mostly Sherry) had to write out thanks yous to all the people who gave us (mostly her) bridal shower gifts. She got them all done in 4 days! Not too shabby for 75 personalized thank yous. But I'll tell you what, it was worth it, everyone gave us waaaaaaayyyy too much stuff. I couldn't believe it! (Another big "thank you" to anyone who might be reading this that might have been involved.)

Wednesday we went downtown to pick out the food we want to have for our wedding. I think we are going with the Filet Mignon and Chicken Francais Duet. Oh, and don't forget the 5-hour open bar of top shelf!!! Of course we are now up to about $100 a person. yikes. But, i'm sure it will be a good time.

Later that evening I went to the Sabres Game with another financial advisor and a rep from Mainstay Investments. Great Game and we had great seats, about 5 feet from the glass at the top of the circle on the end where the Sabres shoot twice. It was also the end where the Sabres scored all their goals. After playing terribly all game, down by two goals with two minutes left in the game, they came back to tie it up and put it into overtime, where Buffalo scored on the PP to win the game. Best game I've seen in a long time, and certainly better seats than I'm used to.

Sherry and I were supposed to go over to her sister's house so that we could play some Wii tonight after her brother-in-law and i got done working out. Of course he wussed out, saying he was 'sick', so hopefully we will be able to do it tomorrow. I need to get the last 15 pounds off before the wedding. I've already lost 25, but the last 15 is taking a lot longer than i hoped. Gotta look good for the honeymoon...
